Hypothetically speaking, if someone is denied a tourist visa at one out of country consulate, can you apply again at a different consulate or is there some finality to that situation? Do you receive the dreaded “red stamp” in this case?
Hi, I'm on my 5th consecutive tourist visa from Vientiane, each of which was extended for 30 days at Chaeng Watthana.
Last time there was a warning issused in my passport that any further tourist visa applications may be rejected. But I did read of some people getting 7 consecutive tourist visas from Vientiane.
What do you think is likely to happen if I go there again and apply for another? Thanks
Dear TVA family, I have a little doubt about my visa situation. I had a new passport issued in 2017 in which there are 3 tourist visa stamps to be found all together and on the latest one I got the red coloured remark. I probably would not have even had to apply for a 3-month visa this time as I actually fly out within two months for 90 days to Europe, but I wanted to make sure that I can stay safe and sound until that date as changing those plane tickets could cost a fortune... The problem is that I already have a plane ticket back to Thailand for the end of September and I would have wished for applying for a new tourist visa during my stay in Europe with the idea of staying in Thailand from Sep 25 until probably Christmas, and probably after spending the holidays in another Asean country then return here for 2/3 months, travel out again somewhere new to visit, return for another 2/3 months and then head back to Europe. I was told I should apply for ED visa or just get a new passport and this way my problem could be solved. I would go for the latter one if that works as I actually would prefer having more freedom to travel around and would not like to pay extra for courses that I wouldn't want to attend and re-entries & and other extra fees... I hope to get some confirmation that getting a new passport again could actually work 🙄 Thank you so much for any recommendation & advice in advance.
I have one doubt to ask you all. Please advice me.
