Hi everyone. Can you register with a GP here on DTV? Wondering what’s the cheapest option to get long term prescriptions because it’s too expensive just buying from a pharmacy each time. Any advice would be appreciated 🙏
Update: I was able to get the price from Medisafe. Thanks to all for the help.
Hi, my family and I are moving to Thailand next year, and I've been working through all the logistics. I've been trying to get a rough estimate of what our various prescriptions will cost, and I've got most of them figured out well enough, except one. My mom has Parkinson's and takes a medication called Sinemet (carbidopa/levodopa). Does anyone here have experience filing this medicine and how much it may cost or know a resource I could reach out to for pricing? She goes through around 180 pills per month (6/day).
I'd like to know where to buy Melatonin here, I've went to some pharmacies and they were like "it's not for sale" so yeah. Any clues? Since my sleep schedule has been a mess.
Is there any place in Thailand where you can purchase American name brand children’s medicine. Preferably Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, or Bangkok area. With shipping would be great?!... 🤔 T.I.A. 🙏
I have a very specific question falling under "Everything else". I am planning to move to Thailand (I hope) by the end of the year. However, I have a challenge. I am on a medication that does not seem to be sold in Thailand and needs refrigeration. So, I have a two-part question:
1) Is there anyone taking Emgality and, if so, how are you getting it?
2) For those who have refrigerated medications that are not available in Thailand, how do you bring them in?
Even if I can get the medication elsewhere (the only semi-local option seems to be Singapore and even that will be challenging), I'm concerned about the transport. Any help would be appreciated.
