We are an Dutch family and will travel to Thailand in October. Intention is to get a tourist for 60 days and extend with 30 days = 90 days. Then we will go to Vietnam for 30 days and Malaysia for 30 days. Then we would like to come back to Thailand for another 60 days before returning to Europe for the summer.
Can I request the 60 day tourist visa for the second 60 days? Or can we only do that once?
Do the kids of 8 and 12 need to get a tourist visa?
What is the best place to find a rental villa in Phuket for a few months?
I have applied for a Non-O (volunteer) visa and have also applied for a Non-O for my wife (as a dependant on my visa as was confirmed with embassy). Do you believe it is necessary to secure Non-O dependant visas for my 3 year old and 1 year old? In the past, friends with kids did not get visas for their kids as young children were not penalised for over-stays. I have been out of Thailand for 18-months now so this might have changed.
The reason that I am asking about whether to get them visas is because of processing time (my kids are on Australian passports and we are applying in Canada), not cost. Thanks.
Is it possible to make visa in Penang (60 days) for 13y.o. daughter without her? I mean if me and my husband will be there and she will be in other place in Malaysia... Border will cross together
My daughter has a Thai birth certificate and I was told she wouldn't need a visa for that reason. However, my plan was to get an ED visa for her so I can get a non-O on her ED.
Any knowledge on this scenario out there please :)
