Hi guys, I’m planning to apply for the DTV, but I’m a bit confused about the definition of “remote worker” in this context. My company allows hybrid working, which means I’m expected to show up at the office from time to time, but also allowed to work from home (including from outside the country).
I am able to get a letter from them that indicates that I am allowed to work from another country. Would this qualify as remote worker? Or does it only apply to people who are fully remote?
I applied in the US as a self employed freelancer with an LLC and the embassy just sent me an email requesting this:
‘Upload a self- employment verification letter that include the full name, position, *digital nomad/ remote worker, period of employment and signed by yourself (Issue within 6 months)’
I already mentioned to them I am self employed and uploaded my LLC. So should I just write the letter myself in third person? Seems a bit strange.
Someone else mentioned they did that. Basically wrote a self employment letter and signed it themself.
