I just received my visa few minutes ago, here's my experience:
I have multiple source of income, but I applied with my company (owned 100% by me, I'm the only employee).
Status changes:
26/01/2025 (Sunday) - Application submitted
27/01/2025 (Monday) - Requested photo in better quality and a photo if my ID card
28/01/2025 (Tuesday) - Status moved to "Pending approval"
31/01/2025 (Friday) - Approved
Documents:
3. Proof of residence:
* Address card (in my country we have a dedicated card for your permanent address)
* Recent electricity bill
4. Proof of 500 000 THB:
* A signed statement from my bank in a different country that I have about 550 000 THB on my bank account.
Name, address, account number included. I had only 250 000 THB on my account, went to an ATM, deposit 300 000 THB to the same account, went inside the bank and requested the document. It's a very simple statement in English.
5. Information about my work:
* Cover letter - Briefly introduce the nature of my work, history and ownership of the company and the reason why I want to stay in Thailand.
* Business website - Exported the main screen of my website.
* Linkedin profile - Took a screenshot of the top part of my LinkedIn profile
* Client list - Made an excel about my most important clients in the past 5 years. Included the name of the company (if it was possible), industry, dates, country.
* Official, digitally signed company register extract
* Invoices+Bank statemens (3 months) - Uploaded my 3 recent invoices from my main client and the bank statemens where I received the payments (about 200 000 THB/payment). Invoices/Statements were not in English.
I merged all of the documents together and highlighted important details using Adobe Acrobat.

Before I sent my application I spent time to analyze the ocntent of the approvied visas in the group. I think the structure what I posted above is more than enough. I want to mention that all of my clients were huge companies or government related organizations so I was not able to show any screenshots or other details of my work.

One more thing: I didn't book a flight and I booked a refundable hotel for 3 months.
I'm a 48yo Australian digital nomad looking to secure a Thai Digital Nomad DTV. However, I'm already living as a digital nomad, so the only residence I have is a rented condo in Thailand.
After a costly $900 rejection trying to apply for the at the Budapest Thai Embassy while on holiday (they only serve Hungarian nationals), I now have two options:
1) Try again from Phnom Penh Cambodia when I travel there in Oct. I have a hotel booked for 2 weeks and plans to return to Thailand afterwards.
2) Wait until I return to Australia at Christmas. Note though that don't own or rent anything in Australia. I stay with my sister when there, so can't prove residence in the normal ways.
Any advice? Has anyone faced applying for this thing while already travelling the globe?
I need to get a visa extension but I don’t have proof of my residence. My ex employer provided me with accommodation as part of my contract and am still living in their house until they pay me my severance. I need to get a visa extension and there is no way the owners of the house(my ex
Employer) will fill out any form stating that I live in their house. My 60 day visa expires 7/22 and was hoping
To stay until 8/ 23, when I fly back to America. Do I have any options here? Or do I have to try and make a land crossing (since both my border runs were by air since January).
Regarding required documents for non o 90 day Visa. I went to the Bangkok government complex to extend my 30 day exempt entry by another 30 days and succeeded . Thank you Tod and others for suggesting I stop by c - 1 to ask for a list of required documents for non- immigrant o Visa. See image below. The list includes application form passport page copies, photo, application fee, and documentation of either 800,000 b in bank or guarantee letter for proving monthly pension or income. What's confusing me is there is nothing there about proving residence with rental contract owners blue book or owners ID. I asked two ladies is there anything else like residence documents needed. She said if I want to know about residence then I should go to section A and get in the queue. She mentioned something about 24 hour which sounded like owner reporting of my moving into condo but I thought this was not required in Bangkok. The reason I am trying to pin down if there are any residence requirements is because though I have the rental contract and owners ID, my condo owner cannot find his Blue Book and we'll have to go to City Hall to get a new one and would prefer not to. It would be a lot easier if all that was required was just the items on the list, but based on other posts Phantom requirements creep up.
