Does someone any experiences with The pension certificate from the German embassy in Bangkok? My pension will start from July 2024 .
I have the 90 days non immigration O visa and will start the process of extension to a one year retirement visa in Thailand.
I will arrive in Bangkok on 4th of May.
My question is:
Am I eligible to get the 1 year visa with my pension starting in July?
Or should I put 800 000 Baht just from very beginning on a Thai bank account which I will open on my first days there and wait 2 monts and then go to immigration office and apply for the 1 year Visa?
I actually wanted to use the combination method for my financial evidence , my pension+ the rest of 800 000 Baht on the account= together 800 000 Baht .
I would be very happy to get your advice . I think German speaking members of this forum may help me more.
For the extension of the annual residence permit, we would like to switch from a bank certificate for 800,000 baht to a pension certificate. Can someone please tell me how long this pension certificate is valid? e.g. 3 months or 6 months from the date of issue?
