If I renew my visa a month early, will my visa be dated the current date or the later date? Thanks 😊

Hi, anyone here had recently done the covid extension in Pai or Chiang Rai? Did they give you 60 from the day you applied (like in Chiang Mai recently) or from the day of your last day of your visa ( if you're on the covid extension)? thanks

i came to Thailand in Nov 2018...only stayed 2weeks...this was my first trip to thailand....flew back to USA...came back to Thailand March 2019...on a tourist visa....visa ran out May 6 2019....got extension......then went to Laos.... got another Tourist Visa June 4th 2019....visa ran out....got extension....

I have a MEV visa and i'm an italian citizen.

These are my visa details:

Date of issue: 28/08/2018

Enter before: 27/02/2019

Total of 183 days (!!)

First question.. My visa will be consider valid according to the dates printed in the visa passaport, or is going to be consider valid only from the date of issue + 180 days?

Second question.. I had my return flight from maldives on feb 26th that has been rescheduled on feb 27th. Will my visa still be valid? In other words, the dates printed in my visa have the same value as the usal 2 months stamp (23.59 of the printed day)?

If I apply for visa on Friday 5th October at Vientiane, I learn I will need to pick it up on the Monday the 8th as that’s the next work day, do you know if I will be stamped from the 5th or the 8th, this is for a 1 entry tourist visa, thank you in advance

Hi. If a Thai visa says: “enter before May 28”,

Does that mean I need to enter by May 27th? Or is entering on May 28 ok?

I thought this was a useful explanation to 'understanding your visa' ;) :)
