Will leaving Thailand with my extension of stay affect my entry stamps?

Okay just wanted to get back to everyone and let you know the O/P did indeed have an extension of stay not a visa

and

as they are in bangkok they know they can get a re-entry permit at Chaengwattana main office or at either Bangkok airport when they fly out

I am doubtful you hold ANY visa at all 😮 and it's far more likely you have a year-long "extension of stay" from an immigration office inside the country

Read your current stamp; it should say EXTENSION OF STAY PERMITTED UNTIL and have a date of Dec 15th 2025 🙂

If you indeed DO have an extension of stay, those are sold "no entry" <- meaning they do not have a re-entry permit attached) because you were already IN thailand when you got it stamped in your passport

That means if you want to exit/re-enter the country during this extension you need to BUY a re-entry permit from the Immigration office where the extension was issued OR you get one at the airport before you fly out (Suvarnabhumi / Don Mueang have re-entry permit counters)

It is sold as a single re-entry for 1000baht <- meaning you can exit/re-enter one time, OR

as a multiple re-entry for 3800baht <- meaning you can exit/re-enter all you want until your current extension expires (Dec 15th, 2025)
