Hello, new member here. I got a Thai re-entry visa earlier this month at the airport after using my tourist visa, but just noticed that the re-entry seal says "non-immigrant" instead of "tourist". I have another trip coming up next week. Will this be an issue at Thai immigration? I'm not sure why they put the non-immigrant seal. My money receipt for the visa only says "re-entry" and the amount paid, nothing else. Help!

Had you already taken the 30 day extension on your tourist visa? A tourist visa is normally only good for 60 days and a re-entry permit doesn't extend that

then I'm not sure how you got a re-entry permit for longer than the duration of your visa, it must be a mistake on behalf of the person who issued it. Can you post copy of the visa and your entry stamp without personal information?

Not quite sure of this one. I suspect it has a hand written or a stamp saying “Non-RE” Post a picture of the stamp you received (but remove any personal information if there is any).

see it says non-imm on the top. I had a tourist visa and used it up then got the re-entry. I took a re-entry visa last year and it said tourist on top .

I'm worried I'll be stopped and they'll ask why it says non-immigrant visa if I had a tourist visa. (I may be stopped in my country's immigration). What should I say, the Thai immigration gave this and it's legit?

Probably an office type thing where one has one type of stamp but the other doesn’t. You’re good to go with that.

If you are back in Thailand and it was a single re-entry permit don't worry because it's already used

looks like the IO used wrong stamp when they issued you re-entry permit. You should check the stamp before leaving Thailand. Happens all the time as IO stamps the wrong date. But you case is the wrong stamp. You might have some explaining to do at the counter. Hope you get in smoothly.
