Which embassies accept one-month bank statements for visa applications, and what are the requirements for soft power courses in Bangkok?

I'm looking to apply to an embassy that will accept the latest or 1 month bank statements as that is what I can only prove right now.

So far I've read that Hanoi (Vietnam), Phnom Penh (Cambodia), Jakarta (Indonesia) and Taipei (Taiwan) are ones that have allowed this and I'm hoping anyone with experience of this, can please share. 🙏

Also, does anyone know cheap soft power courses to apply to in Bangkok? If you do apply with for the soft power DTV, the embassy will not ask for any employment verification correct?

Thanks!!

did they accept just 1 month bank statement?

Taipei accepts the 500K as the final balance but need to submit 6 month of statements. SP applicants must provide employment info. Other embassies are doing similar for SPers.

what kind of employment info would they need? And what if someone is taking a career break, could you explain that to them somehow?

Anonymous participant They like to see a contract of employment, salary deposits on bank statements. If on a career break then explain that in a cover letter.

PLEASE Read the posts on this forum. Your answers are there for you to read. Then ask your specific questions about getting the DTV visa.

Some embassies are now requesting proof of employment when applying for a soft power visa. Most embassies require evidence that you can sustain yourself. With only 500K in your bank account for one month and no other proof of income, it may be difficult to meet their requirements. What will you do to sustain your life during 5 years?

Anonymous participant 763 he will sleep on the beach in Pattaya if he can find a spot it's fully booked ATM 🤣🤣🤣

Anonymous participant 763 The 500k is not meant to prove you can support yourself for 5 years. More like the 180 day entry.

Yeah sure, you'll not even survive a year with that as you say 😅. But you'll still be able to obtain a 5-year with it on your account for some months.

Anonymous participant 763 Yes it is for the first qualification and need it again for in country extension. It could also be requested at entry points at the discretion of an Immigration Officer.
