TLDR : Answer Summary
To travel to Cambodia, you can obtain either a Tourist visa (T Visa) or an Ordinary visa (E Visa) upon arrival, each valid for 30 days. The Tourist visa can be extended for an additional 30 days while the Ordinary visa has various extensions available (1, 3, 6 months, or up to 1 year) depending on the purpose of your stay. Be cautious of online information sources and consider checking official government websites for reliable information.

There are two types of visas you can apply for on arrival. The Tourist visa (T Visa) and the Ordinary visa (E Visa, not to be confused with the separate online e-visa (electronic visa) application process that exists for some nationalities). Both are for 30 days. However, with a tourist visa you can only extend one time for an additional 30 days. With the Ordinary visa, there are different options for extending, 1, 3, 6 months or a year, depending on the purpose (retirement, job seeking, employment, etc.). The ordinary visa is $5 (maybe now $10 more expensive than the tourist visa
Yes, you can get an ordinary visa on arrival. Not sure if you can stay six months though, if you don’t have a job or moving to a retirement visa. There is a Cambodia visa Facebook page that I suggest you join. There are folk there that are much more on top of the requirements than I am.
I’ve looked it’s just different information each time. Some say you can apply for 30 days with extension then some say you can apply for a year one.. just want to know the hows and what’s if you know what I mean.
