TLDR : Answer Summary
Bosco from Sri Lanka seeks advice on obtaining a suitable visa for starting a small business in Thailand and how to acquire a work permit. The responses suggest that a Business Visa is necessary, and acquiring a work permit requires either working for a company or setting up your own Thai company. It's noted that for every foreign employee, four Thai employees must be hired, and costs for registering a company can range significantly, often requiring legal assistance. Additionally, there are concerns about limited opportunities for foreigners in the Thai small business market.
Lots of Thais doing small businesses, so not much room for foreigners.

You will need $8000 to launch plus inventory there are many restricted fields. Being from S L sorry to say but you will face some prejudice. Get a lawyer for sure.
very simple, according to the thai laws ,you need to register a company to start any kind of buisness and when you register company so work permit along with registration, inbox please π
you must get a job first. Or create a company before to apply for business visa
