TLDR : Answer Summary
The post discusses the requirements for obtaining a business visa in Thailand, emphasizing the legal obligations like having a minimum registered capital of 2 million baht and employing at least four Thai nationals paying social security. It highlights that foreigners can own a business but cannot work without a proper work permit. Additional comments reflect on the difficulties of setting up a business without prior understanding and suggest exploring established local businesses as an easier alternative.
Try applying for BOI first - if you get that, everything else will be so much easier.

Make a company ( 7k-10k+ Make Vat(7-8k+ Accountant per month( 4-5 k) + vat + 4 Thai employee( with sso )( minimum 5k)+ visa agent fees( 20-25k)+ yearly financial year close (minimum 15k)+ income tax+ corporate tax+ office rent + and exception of it make sense you can do it
I have sneaking feeling that opening an electronics business isn’t going to be an easy venture. Get the capital, get some Thai partners, maybe you can do it. But by the way OP phrased it, I have a feeling they don’t really have an understanding of what it actually takes to register a business here in this country..
I'm one of those sad cases in life who simply respond to a question without analysing someone's profile. Someone looking to open a business in a field which is probably protected for Thai people led me to think it could be a joint Thai/Farang venture. I apologise for my obvious faux pas

You are aware that just a simple legal business requires a minimum of bt2million in registered capital, and 4 Thai employees you pay social security on, and you can only own 49% of the business. This applies to getting one work permit. If you need two work permits then double the money and number of employees. This basically applies to setting up the business just to get a type B business visa. You can't just setup a business without having at least bt2million in registered capital. Then because this isn't a teaching business, approved by the ministry of education, any foreigner you hire must be paid at least bt65,000a month (that might have went up to bt85,000 a month) that Thai income taxes are paid on in order to keep the visa. It is not easy to setup a legal business that meets your visa needs. You can own a business, but you can not legally do any work of any kind without a work permit.
