I've been using wise to transfer to my Bangkok bank account for a while re the 65k+ pm method for retirement visa selecting 'Funds for long term stay' and it always shows as international transfer, all good π
However just been on wise and the funds for long term stay option is no longer there. Anybody had any problems with this? What reason for transfer are people using. Does it make any difference what reason you use?

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user reports that the option 'Funds for long term stay' has disappeared from Wise when transferring money to their Bangkok bank account for retirement visa purposes. Other commenters discuss alternative reasons for transfer, such as 'purchase of property', and share past experiences with different services like Remitly. There is debate about the implications of using certain transfer reasons and related regulations.
