Sorry @[Tom Wanzer]([members only]) seeing as your post had zero to do with the thread you high-jacked I'll move it here 

So  I'm confused.  If you've been living on amnesty, there is no way to get  a new visa without leaving the country.  But the borders are closed, so  how does this work?

you also asked what if you found employment before the amnesty ended and would you be able to go from amnesty to a Non-B in country.

Sadly the answer is; at this time it's highly unlikely that would happen and there are few if any verifiable cases of people going from amnesty to a Non-B visa in country.

As Benjamin, said you need to talk to your employer about that.

If you can't secure a long term visa/extension BEFORE this current amnesty runs out on Sept 26th you need to as immigration said in the amnesty decree "prepare to depart"
