TLDR : Answer Summary
The discussion clarifies the confusion about the TM 6 and TM 7 forms. For a Thai tourist visa extension, users suggest filling the TM 7 form instead of TM 6, which is now mostly obsolete. Common suggestions for the reason include simply stating 'tourism' or 'holiday', as specific details are often not scrutinized by immigration officers. One user humorously suggested a more elaborate reason for fun.
said just put “holiday”. They don’t care what the reason may be.

If I was American I’d write “vacation”. But that’s just too many letters.

I’m sure you’ve got your forms mixed up. A visa extension is form TM7. The now mostly discontinued TM6 is an arrival and departure card that is no longer used at airports but still used at land borders.
