I have a friend who lives in Chiang Mai. She is currently on an education visa which runs out on the 3rd of October.

She is going for the 30 day tourist extension as she has the letter from her embassy saying she can't travel home.

What other paperwork does she need?

Why would she go NOW when the place is jammed with people two days before amnesty expires.

She's not even ON amnesty, have her go next week or the week after once it settles down AND tell her she might need to cancel the ed visa extension before they allow her to get the 30 day embassy request extension

to cancel the extension she takes documents from where she's studying saying her study ends on xx date. To get the copies she needs to get the 30 day embassy request extension ask on a C/M f/b group

There are 70 immigration offices in the country and we don't keep track of the requirements on all of them. There is no one size fits all list :(
