What options are available for my son to stay in Thailand after his Non-Immi O dependent visa expires?

*NEED INFORMATION*

My husband has valid work permit under Non- Immi B visa and my son is allowed to live in Thailand under Non-Immi O visa (Dependent visa). He is a student of Monash University, Australia and his classes will be resumed hopefully on July 2021.

However, my son's visa will be expiring on 22nd November, as he will be turned to 20 years old then. According to Thai immigration policy, after 20 years, he is not able to stay with us under dependent visa. From Bangladesh, Special Tourist Visa (STV) has not been started yet. 

Consideing the current context, can any one suggest me any category or process which I can adopt to bring my son in Thailand?

Or any Agency name who can help me out?

I would suggest that if your son is currently in Bangladesh, that he contacts the Thai embassy there to see what options might be available.

There is a visa / extension of stay based on seeing family members, however I don’t know if this applies to children visiting parents on a work permit - normally it allows a foreigner to visit their spouse in Thailand.

He might be able to go to school in Thailand, and get an ED visa, and the extension.

, to be legal he currently will need to be admitted to, and study, at a university in order to get one from outside Thailand. Informal schools currently aren't being accepted from outside Thailand, but that could change.

Basically he will just simply be an adult tourist subject to whatever tourist visa requirement. If you want him to stay with you long time look at education visa. But he will not be coming any time soon. New year at the earliest

under the current context, Thai embassy is not allowing any normal tourist visa. He is studying Engineering in Monash University, Australia. How can he apply for education visa?

he is in Bangladesh now. Me, my husband and my 11 years daughter are coming thru repatriation flight in last week of this month. Thanks for asking. Can you show me any light Sir?

. The conditions in place at present would not allow your son to come to Thailand, as he is now too old to be classed as a "child", way too young for any "retirement" visa, which leaves work permit, if he can secure short-term employment, education visa if he enrols in a university course (possibly his best option, he should enquire with universities to ascertain if there are any short term courses which are eligibles), ED visa is not yet applicable for language schools. As there are no tourist visas, the only other option is an Elite Visa, but that's an expensive venture, although if you do have the funds, it will take care of his visa requirements for the next five years, if he intends visiting you in Thailand during University breaks in Australia.
