TLDR : Answer Summary
Members in Hua Hin utilizing the Income method for their yearly visa extension report that Bangkok Bank can no longer provide a letter detailing overseas income but can provide 12 months of credit transfer records. Successful applicants have used a combination of 12 months of bank statements, credit advice, an updated passbook, and a bank account confirmation letter to secure their annual retirement extension. The process can be completed quickly at immigration, usually within 45 minutes, and maintaining up-to-date bank records is recommended. However, the information may be specifically relevant to residents of Hua Hin.

I dream of those days when all I had to do was to provide the U.K. Embassy with confirmation of my pensions. I then got a letter from the Embassy confirming this, which immigration accepted without question. There seem to be a lot more hoops to jump through now I use the 65k per month transfer.
12 credit advice printed out on spot. Bank Statements can only do 6 months at time, I did first lot of statements 6 months ago. If you want 12 months in one go have to wait 7 days.
in the past, I have ordered a 1 year statement about 6 weeks before my renewal, it took about a week to get it, as the local branch (Buriram, Bangkok Bank) said it had to come from Head Office.
On the day I went to do my renewal I got another statement to cover the interim time, anda letter stating the balance that day.
No problems encountered at Immigration.
