Update about applying for Non o visa based on marriage multi entry 1 year in Ho chi Minh.
I arrived there around 9.30am and in about 5 minutes I was out. The staff is really nice and professional, I submitted exactly what was listed in their website.
Day after at 2pm I picked up my passport and visa, this time not even 5 minutes.
What is really nice of this consulate is the staff Wich is really nice, and in these types of situations makes a lot of difference to me.
It was my 3th application, the first in Ho chi Minh.
Getting back in Thailand through DMK was smooth.
Hope it can be of some sort of help as it had been to me some similar posts in he past.

I got mine there the week before last. They didn't even ask to see my original marriage cert, and handed back the signed copy of my passport data page saying they didn't need it. Still, worth taking everything just in case..... They were also fine with accepting my docs in the afternoon - I got there around 2pm and was in and out in 10 minutes.
Couldn't be easier.

Anybody know what do we use for housebook if we only rent a condo and do not own? I understand all the other documents, this was the only one I wasn't sure of.

I will have to check, should be, born and raised there and probably never registered anywhere else.

All Thais has a housebook by law. Go to the local Amphur office and ask for a new copy. I believe it's blue, the last I checked.
, the website gives bad information, you don't certify the copies at all. What you do is have your wife SIGN the copies of her thai i/d and her house book listing and the marriage certificate. That's all you need.
Don't forget in HCMC your wife needs to write a letter to the consulate asking that they issue you the visa AND don't forget they ONLY accept US dollars there as well for the visa fees.

In Thai?

Tod Daniels what does the letter need to say exactly?
DO NOT believe the information you got on another F/B group about "certified copies". As far as getting Non-O visas from the thai consulates nearby you ONLY need to have your wife sign the copies of her stuff and you sign the copies of your stuff <- meaning you BOTH sign the marriage certificate copies
hi, sorry forgot to mention that, mine were not certified.and they accepted them no problem.if Iโm not wrong, if you want to certify a copy is at chang wattana were you have to go,not the immigration building but another one close by.
