If, by the chance, I found a job and the company provides legal documents to work in Thailand , and my visa follow the current amnesty till July 2020, what will be the process to follow with IO etc. Going to a neighbour country to issue the visa is still necessary? Thank you all for the support

Check with your specific immigration office and be prepared to wait until the borders (and the consulates in neighboring countries) re-open so you can go get a Non-B from them

It seems that most immigration offices do NOT consider the "unable to travel due to covid-19" extension stamp(s) OR this free amnesty as days you can use to convert what ever stamp you were previously on to a 90 day Non-immigrant visa (of any type)..

If you're on amnesty, and you found a job, I believe you'll have to leave Thailand and get a non-b visa in another country - as of right now, that would be the country of your passport. Once the borders reopen, you can return the start the process to get the work permit and the extension of stay based on employment.
