Hi everyone, I'm currently in Europe, planning for a return on the 25th of December. Can someone clarify the precise insurance request for thai pass. I have a non OA visa (retirement) with 1 year extension until mid march and re-entry permit.
I obviously have the "big" insurance to get extension... I'm talking about the specific Covid insurance to activate thai pass. Is it 50k$ or 100k$ and should it be 1 month or until the end of my extension (3months)...not clear even on the insurance Internet site... Thanks for help.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user seeks clarification on the type and duration of Covid insurance required for the Thai Pass, specifically for someone holding a NON-OA (retirement) visa. There is confusion about whether the required coverage is $50,000 or $100,000 and how long the insurance needs to be valid, given their re-entry permit and current extension. Comments suggest contacting the insurance provider for specific details, with a note that insurance links are not permitted.

yes I do have this insurance that was mandatory to renew the extension of stay. However it doesn't clearly states "covid coverage" and I was under the impression that in order to receive the requested "Thai pass" for entering the country , a specific additional covid insurance was requested. 30 days and 50.000$ coverage.
Now I'm receiving information that because of my visa it should cover me until the validity of my extension when I enter Thailand ie 3 months to March 22nd.
Can you confirm that my existing insurance non OA plan will be accepted or should I get additional covid coverage ?
you do not need more insurance. Show proof of your insurance certificate. Ask your insurance company as they can provide proof needed. And the proof needs to be the ending date of your current OA insurance.
