TLDR : Answer Summary
The discussion revolves around the necessity of filing a TM30 form for foreigners staying with local Thai residents, specifically in the context of extending a visa. It is confirmed that if the girlfriend owns the property, she must register the TM30, ideally within 24 hours of the foreigner's arrival. Additional questions include the timing for applying for a 30-day extension, which can vary by immigration office, but many allow applications 30 days in advance. Key points also indicate that staying at hotels may automatically register the TM30, while staying with locals requires registration to inform immigration of the residence.
If you stay in hotel a tm30is done automatic if staying with locals should complete a tm 30 in 24 from arriving so immigration knows where you are staying,

She can register you online by creating a user here;
YES! And the fact that you don't do it changes nothing. TM30 is mandatory. And when you come back from a weekend in a different province, say to a hotel or a friends house (btw they have to file too when you stay), you have to file again at your girlfriends house. Every time. But you are right, I didn't do it either... But that meant I didn't stay 30 days longer... I didn't want to risk the hassle and rejection.
sorry if I upset you but to be honest what is the point of trying to be helpful if someone constantly belittles you and give the incorrect info. The site is a great helpful. Anyway solved the issue.
you said "60 days exempt visa" . . . . . . . . however it is a "60 days visa-exempt entry stamp" ππ well let's not get pedantic here, not worth the effort
If staying at GF home you need to register (online) when you arrive. Then take passport 1900 Bhat and copies of passport page and arrival stamp. Although most immigration offices have photocopy shops. DM me if you want further help
Itβs the house owner that should file the TM30 - technically within 24 hours of your arrival. You will probably need one filed to get your extension.
Depends on the immigration office you use as to how early you can apply. Some allow 45 days, most 30 days and a few only 7 days.
