Destination Thailand Visa extension requirements posted on Bangkok immigration's website
[members only]
Check with your office to see if they have the hand out listing the requirements. This should be pretty close to what they want at most offices though :)

TLDR : Answer Summary
The Bangkok Immigration website provides information on the requirements for visa extensions in Thailand, but individuals are advised to consult their local immigration office for specific interpretations and potential updates to these guidelines. Notably, there was confusion regarding the proof of funds requirement, where the expected amount should be 500,000 baht instead of the mistakenly listed 5 million baht. It is important for expats to verify details at their own immigration office when planning for visa extensions.
Just wanted everyone to know that the 5000,000 baht they list for the proof of funds is a MISTAKE and it should be the 500K baht like the visa requires NOT 5 million baht ๐

Just as I feared rather that taking the information as presented and then GOING to the immigration office that serves the area where you stay to ask THEIR interpretation of the requirements the post turned into a sh*t show.
Good luck to one and all holding a DTV
it is up to each one of you to decide if you want to get the one in country extension you're allowed per entry OR if you just want to bounce out and back to get a new 180 day entry stamp

Listen up people, you need to slog on out to the immigration office that serves the area where you stay and get the hand out or talk to the people at that office doing the extensions to find out exactly how this will be interpreted by your office
I posted this just to let you know that the immigration office (at least in bangkok) posted the requirements. These are NOT all inclusive and are to be used as a guideline ONLY
GO TO YOUR OFFICE AND ASK ๐
