Has anyone used Shelter to obtain a business visa/work permit?
Looks similar to Iglu although with better options for entrepreneurs and remote workers (not just freelancers). Website seems to be missing important information like how much it costs.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The post inquires about the experiences of using Shelter to obtain a business visa or work permit in Thailand, likening it to Iglu but suggesting better options for entrepreneurs and remote workers. Some comments mention similarities between Shelter and Iglu, while others indicate that navigating the business visa process requires careful planning and interaction with various agencies, as Thailand lacks straightforward solutions.
If you don’t mind doing a little bit of legwork it’s not that hard if you are already registered and running your business in your country and all your finances are in order. There are several agencies doing this and at least in Thailand there really is no turnkey solutions like there are in Estonia and other countries that you will pay a flat fee and be up and running within a few days. So you will inevitably have to go through some consultation process to see what is the best path of entry to your particular situation.

I hadn't heard of a branch office, it looks much easier than setting up a traditional Thai company.
