Can anyone share recent experience renewing Non-Imm "O" Retirement visa? My insurance agent tells me the new health insurance requirements only apply to visa types "OA" and not "O". I'm insured, just to with one of the listed policies. The threads I find seem like all are "OA". thanks!

Only yearly extensions from O-A visas <- the visa you get in your country BEFORE you wing your way here that required a police background check, a medical certificate and showing proof of funds in your country need to have insurance when you get a new extension.

If you are on a yearly extension from the immigration office from an O visa you DO NOT need insurance.
