I just received a free COVID extension stamp until 30 November at Udon Immigration, so not December like some others have received elsewhere apparently. And they also gave me a little yellow reminder paper that says "4 November" and they said if I'm going to request a December extension then I'm only allowed to request on 4 November at their office, not any other day otherwise it will not be accepted... they also said I will need an additional letter from the US Embassy again... so yah, definitely not what I've been hearing from other expats... maybe Udon just sucks now! ๐ฅด

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user reports receiving a free COVID extension stamp valid until November 30 at Udon Immigration. They received a reminder that any request for a December extension can only be made on November 4 and requires an additional letter from the US Embassy. This experience seems to differ from what other expats have reported, indicating potential inconsistencies at the Udon Immigration office.
I'm just curious Jesse, why aren't you on some kind of long term visa extension if you are living here?

Udon has always been a tough immigration office to deal with.

Really? I have come and gone over past few years but they always seemed rather easy at least for getting a basic 30 day extension. Never demanded docs from landlord or anything like that. But it seems like they are one of the worst in Thailand now...
