TLDR : Answer Summary
The current requirement for the Non-Immigrant O-A Visa (OA Visa) in Thailand indicates that an applicant must have 800,000 baht in a Thai bank account two months prior to applying for an extension. There is no requirement for seasoning the funds in a UK bank before the application.

Unless I'm wrong you are almost TWO YEARS away from needing the 800K baht in the bank to get your yearly extension..
You only need the 800K baht in a thai bank account in your name for 2 months before you apply for your yearly extension AND if you use the O-A visa correctly you can get almost TWO years of stay from it so you're a good ways off from panicking about needing the money in the bank.

When you apply for a new visa you need to meet the requirements, it does not matter if you apply for the 1st time , 2nd time, 3rd time etc.
