Does your 800k have to be seasoned 60 days prior to applying for an O visa inside Thailand. I know it has to stay in the account afterward

Don't forget to keep your balance 800K for 3 months after the year extension is granted and more than 400K for the rest of the year until your second year's extension application is approved.

You definitely need to check with YOUR immigration office as far as what they want,

As I said, I believe only Jomtien requires the 2 month seasoning on the 800K baht banked money method when applying for the initial 90 day non-O visa

BUT with that being said

there are over 80 offices so check with yours well before you will want to apply to make sure you don't come off the rails

AFAIK only Jomtien requires those funds to be in a thai bank account in your name only for 2 months before you apply.

Most offices only require you to show the funds in the account on the date you apply (Bangkok requires you show the funds originated from abroad)

The seasoning for the year extension is 800K baht in the bank 2 months before you apply, keep the 800K baht in the account for 3 months after the extension is granted and then the balance can't go below 400K baht the rest of the year
