sure, but it means tourist, metv and dtv visa example. Have use thay e-visa system since it has launched in covid years already - that annouce just mean all another countries who can not use it before. If you don’t want to work, you need elite or ltr (but that demand quite much everything else)

both. Here is a funny story. They rejected a bunch of people last year for the Elite visa because they were about to jack up the prices. I was one of them because people on student visas don't qualify. Now, all their rejects are on a DTV.

That is just dumb. You're on a student visa and see a way to stay longer and are willing to pay for it, but they're like no that won't work.

555, they just wanted me to pay the 900k instead of the 450. They told me that I qualify with the right paperwork a couple months after they raised it to 900k.

555, you need to understand Thai culture. They would rather go out of business then to admit they are greedy a$$holes for doubling the prices from 450k to 900k.

555 I already figured that would be the case, one can hope though. If they went back to the old prices, I would do the 20 year in a heartbeat. Not much difference between 800k held hostage or 20 years no red tape.

no income requirement instead at least 500K baht in your bank account. But you must enroll in reputable cooking class or muay thai or soft power medical activity - diabetic treatment, cardiovascular diseases, dental work that requires regular appointment with a Thai medical practitioner. Search the DTV FB group for more info.
