Hello

I am trying to start a DTV visa application online on [members only]/

There is a section where they ask my address and if it's the same as my permanent address.

I chose HCMC embassy in Vietnam thinking that I would go there soon to get the visa hopefully, so am I supposed to write a Vietnamese address in this field? anyone knows?

Surely the point is apply in country with proof, like entry stamp, of being in the country?

They will submit the application in Vietnam with entry of proof. He is just completing

what he can now.

they aren't in Vietnam so not sure how application gets completed outside of Vietnam, if you need to prove you're in Vietnam. But perhaps I've got wrong info. 🤷

They are starting the application not submitting it yet. Many applicants fill it in beforehand then as soon as they arrive, submit with the passport entry stamp.

Yes, you can fill in sections and save without submitting it. So fastest way is fill it in now, arrive in Vietnam, upload stamp of entry. You can submit at Vietnam airport.
