TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking advice on whether to hire a migration lawyer after their partner's tourist visa to Australia was denied. They compare their situation to a friend's success in obtaining a spouse visa years prior. Comments suggest that understanding the reasons for visa denial is crucial and emphasize that the user is looking for Australian visa advice, not Thai visa guidance. There is also a suggestion to use travel history to strengthen future applications.
Is she your wife or girlfriend? If you have regularly gone to Thailand over a number of years you could say that this will continue and she will be returning with you on your next visit. Use your travel history (passport stamps) to support this. I did something similar with my wife's UK Visa application.

This is Thai visa advice. You need Australian visa advice...
Same thing happened to a friend of mine recently, the reason for denial will be outlined in the decision letter. I understand now it is very difficult, but if you can rectify the reason while it was denied you can apply again. My friend is reapplying now.
did you put in a hand written and signed letter by yourself stating you are paying for everything from plane tickets and all her spending in Aus , did you submit your own bank statements showing liquidity, did she submit a translation of all property she has in her name, did you state you will fly both ways with her and state you take full full responsibility if she breaks any visa rules. What you can submit as evidence is endless
