TLDR : Answer Summary
The TM6 form is not required for yearly visa extensions or 90-day reporting in Thailand as it has been suspended for most air arrivals and is now being managed differently at some land borders. Although some forms still include a field for the TM6 code, it can be left blank without affecting the application process, as immigration authorities are aware of the changes.

If you want to be sure go and ask Immigration. The people there are not your enemy, but that is how you act. Are you sure you're happy in Thailand, if you're so suspicious of Thai authority figures?

You’re ranting n stressing over nothing. It’s not used now in those situations. Relax. Take a walk Sabai. Sabai. 555

The TM7 forms and TM47 have been designed and probably printed years ago. They have the space to fill in the TM6 code but 98% of people won’t have been given one. Immigration are well aware of this and will not require it unless you used one of the land border entry points that still issue them.

Recently reentered at Mukdahan Lao border checkpoint. They have their own homemade version of the TM6. Small slip that asks for arrival vehicle ID, address of place you will be staying in Thailand, and phone number. I think that is it. They keep the slip, nothing goes in the passport. They understand the need for the TM6 so take the initiative to continue collecting this information.

And how do you extend the yearly visa exemption and the 90days reporting???

@Stuart ********
it got discontinued on land borders by April last year

Extensions & reports will have the blank for it, but you can just ignore it for now.

Not needed

You don't need it for either of those things. It's not a required field in the online TM47, you can just leave it blank. The immigration officers know it has been suspended and don't require it for extensions either.
