Hey group, need some fact check done.
The school I’m at was told (presumably by immigration) that the arcane practice of cancelling one’s work permit AND VISA after being out of the country for three months is being enforced. Having a small Amount of experience at immigration, I’m questioning a few things here. But, I’m no expert and definitely not privy to the most current Intel from Immigration. I just want to follow up on this particular thing as it has far-reaching effects in my community.
I’d never heard of this rule. Doesn’t mean it wasn’t/isn’t there, which is why I’m asking you guys here.
If you have any insight here, I’d appreciate it. Specificity is appreciated. Bonus points for written references.
