Hello friends, advice please. I came just prior to the new 60 day visa. So initial 30 days, and now reaching end of 30 day extension. Can anyone advise if better to exit cross land border and return, to obtain the 60 day stay? Will 60 days be granted at land border crossings for example? Many thanks for any advice / tips.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking advice on whether to exit Thailand and re-enter by crossing a land border to obtain a 60-day visa, as their current visa is expiring. Respondents confirm that re-entering at a land border is a valid option to receive the 60-day stay, especially if the user meets visa exemption criteria. They note that previous travel history may influence approval, but recent entries typically do not pose a significant issue.
you would only risk to be refused a visa-exempt entry, if your stamp history in your passport shows extensive use of visa-exempt entries in the near past . . with what you got, you can re-enter Thailand agasin and receive a 60-days stay permit stamp
If this is your recent travel history, you will get another visa exemption without any issues and several land borders can normally be more easy than the airports.
If youβre not familiar with this, several people prefer to use a landborder transport company to bring them across the border and back.
