Marriage Visa Question:

As I understand, I can either show a lump sum of 400,000 THB in a Thai account, or a monthly income of 40,000 THB to demonstrate I have enough money.

Does anyone know how many months of income need to be shown?

I plan to apply for a spousal visa next month, but I have only just managed to get a Thai bank account and have only topped it up with minimal funds. Is it too late?

If he's getting married to a man, he won't qualify for a marriage visa/ non-o based on supporting a Thai spouse. Same sex marriage are not legal here.

I'm assuming the OP is a man and is married to a woman. If the OP is a woman, then the financial requirements doesn't exist.

For monthly income you show the affidavit of your Embassy with a minimum income of 40.000 Thb a month. Or if your Embassy can not provide this service at least 12 months of foreign deposits of minimum 40.000 Thb into a Thai Bank account on your name Or the last three months tax and sso payments of minimum 40.000 Thb salary inside Thailand with the work permit

The lump sum needs to be in the account 2 months prior to the application.

The monthly payments must be shown 12 months.

What passport do you hold?
