I'm thinking about applying for ED-VISA via E-Visa website by choosing the Thai Embassy in Penang Malaysia. Does anybody applied from there? Is it quick service or take too long?

TLDR : Answer Summary
When applying for an ED-VISA via the E-Visa website at the Thai Embassy in Penang, Malaysia, ensure you are currently in Malaysia at the time of application. It is recommended to apply at least 15 working days (approximately 3 weeks) before your intended travel date due to the typical processing time of 7 days. However, be aware that the embassy may request additional documents or an interview, which can extend the processing time.

In Malaysia, you are advised to apply for a visa at least 15 working days (3 weeks) before the intended date of travel.

Their estimated processing time is 7 days, but since they can request additional documents and/or an interview - applications should be made at least 3 weeks prior to your intended travel date.
