It is not the most used office to get a visa for Thailand.

But i see regular questions passing on this page:

The Thailand Trade and Economic Office in Taipei

stopped walk in service and is using the on-line system like the London Embassy. This means you need to have minimum of 6 month residency in the country to apply for a visa.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The Thailand Trade and Economic Office in Taipei has transitioned to an online visa application process, halting walk-in services. Applicants now must reside in Taiwan for a minimum of six months before applying for a visa. This change aligns with systems used by the London Embassy.

Please keep questions limited/related to Thai Visa Advice.

or they can just come in on a 15 day visa on arrival like they have been for a good while

And they can even apply for the VOA online before they come here

It's the same gateway and system as the London online application site. Just no postal service available

When I used this office to get my Non OA a few years ago it was packed with people and agents getting visas. It was walk in service at that time. Most of the people were Taiwanese getting tourist visas.

How were you able to get a Non-O-A visa from the TTEO (Thailand Trade & Economic Office) in Taipei?

Do you hold a taiwan passport or did you have legal residence there?

I ask because as a rule you get an O-A visa from the thai consulate in the country your passport comes from
