Hello, I am at the end of the online application process doing the dtv (plan to go to Laos) and it asks to make the 10k baht payment. I’m wondering if there’s somewhere im not seeing about making an appointment to go to the Laos office. I’m currently in Thailand and know you must exit and apply outside at an embassy. If anyone has done it this way that can inform me, thanks

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is at the final stage of their online application for a Thai visa (NON-O) and is querying about the payment process and appointment requirements for submitting their application at the Thai consulate after exiting to Laos. According to replies, no appointment is necessary to visit the Thai consulate; however, the applicant must first obtain a Lao entry stamp before submitting the online application. After making the 10,000 baht payment in person at the Thai consulate in Laos, they will receive instructions for an interview.

Interesting, so the OP is able to process his application whilst in Thailand? perhaps thy have changed it since 10 days ago but i could not complete the app or get access until I was in Lao, once that app is done an automatic payment reciept should be ready to download in the app/account, take that and 10k cash to Vientiane between 9-12 Mon Friday, once it is received there, the processing begins.

you can select a consulate, a visa type, upload the documents, and leave it in your profile on the eVisa website. Then when you get TO the country you're applying at you can upload your proof that you're in the country and then apply

That's the fastest you can do it

Nope no appt needs to be booked

You're correct you can't apply from inside thailand because you need to upload your Lao visa/entry stamp as proof you're in that country BEFORE you submit the application online

Then you get the proof you applied and just show up at the Thai consulate in person pay the 10K baht, between 9am-11am M-F. They will email you about your interview (within a day or two after paying) you get the interview and stay in Lao until the visa is approved.

you don't say what consulate you're using but this is on the "Apply for a Visa" at the thai consulate in Vientiane website
