TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is inquiring about which Thai diplomatic mission to visit in Laos for obtaining a 60-day tourist visa. Responses indicate that they should consider making an appointment at the Royal Thai Embassy or the Thai Consular Office, preferably with advice pointing towards the office in Vientiane, as it requires scheduling an appointment in advance, while the one in Savannakhet still allows walk-in services but requires additional documentation.
If u mean Vientiane, its the one NOT next to the park or PatuXay.
Note they appear as "Thailand Embassy" or "Embassy of Thailand" in Google.
U r better off putting "Vieng Vang Hotel" which theres only 1 and across the road.
PD: Remember u now need to schedule an appointment beforehand (2-3 weeks ahead) to use that consulate.

If you go to Vientiane you make first an appointment, if you go to Savannakhet it is still a walk in service but you need proof of 20K in a bank account and proof of onward travel.

And some passport copies like your Laos visa and entry stamp and id page.
the thai consulate in vientiane does NOT require proof of funds, proof of onward travel or proof of lodging.
Just your passport copies, an application and 2 passport sized photos. :)

Thanks for the information. I'm going to the one in Vientiane. I did read that that they request proof of 20,000 baht, and proof of address in Thailand. So are you saying that I only need to hand in my passport, the form that I need to fill in, as well as the 1000 baht?
