Hi, Just so I understand the process correctly... To get an extension for a 30 tourist exemption stamp I need to go to Muang Thong Thani and not the usually immigration office? Is there a map somewhere of this new location? thx in advance

TLDR : Answer Summary
To extend a 30-day tourist visa exemption in Thailand, you are required to visit the Muang Thong Thani Immigration Office instead of the standard immigration offices. It is essential to book an appointment online for the extension process. The office location can be found on Google Maps, with specific directions provided to the entrance.
ah no I didn't look for that but the road in is blocked right about where you enter counter k so you would have to drive in the other entrance where it would allow access to the garage. No idea about the details of the garage nearby, if visitors can park.

AND you need to book an appointment here at this site
said IF you showed up here without having bought a tourist visa from a thai consulate BEFORE you came here but were stamped in for free for 30 days you don't have a tourist visa, and that choice is the wrong choice.
You want this choice
They are two totally different counters for extensions (K for visa exempt and J for tourist visa)
. Wrong one. You have a visa exempt stamp from the airport when entering. It wasn't issued by an embassy

If you entered on a 30 day visa exempt or a 60 day tourist visa entry and you want to get the 30 day embassy request extension you go to the Muang Thong Thani Immigration office
