There are quite a few friends on the Non B Visa issued at the consulate overseas. This group have to leave the country every 90 days. All are under the amnesty at the moment. With all borders closed and no announcements made how to handle this? 

Can the visa be extended here? Some have work permit and some don’t. What are the options?

you get the Non Immigrant B visa at the Thai Consulate, make your way into Thailand, pick up your work permit and start to work,

Before the 90 day period ends you apply for the 1 year Extension of Stay based on employment.

If they have to leave every 90 days, talk with the employer so he can meet the requirements from Immigration office.

i believe his visa was made outside thailand. like penang . 1 year multiply. non b. the reason could be all the paperwork he need to prepare if he wants to do yearly extension in thailand.

yes that I understand but my friend leaves the country every 90 days. His visa is multi entry valid for 1 year

yes, I understand. If he likes to make border runs then he has to wait until all border are open again and he can travel back into Thailand without problem. Be aware there will be a new announcement before 31 July and that is at the moment the last date to be inside Thailand without a valid stay

Apply for the 1 year Extension of Stay based on employment and get a multiple re-entry permit, end of stress
