I'm currently in Bangkok. The Visa exemption stamp on my passport says 17th November (60 days). I will then need to go to a local Immigration Office to extend for another 30 days if I want to stay longer. Is this correct?
Would you be able to provide suggestion on the best/fastest office to go too?
Iโm currently staying in Chatuchak area.
Thank you! ๐

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking clarity on extending their Visa exemption in Bangkok after their initial 60-day period expires on November 17. They intend to extend their stay for an additional 30 days at a local Immigration Office and are asking for the best office to visit, being currently located in the Chatuchak area. Responses confirm that they need to apply at the IT Square Laksi Plaza Immigration Office, rather than returning to any office in Bangkok if they move.
What Ellie says is correct if you are still in Bangkok at the time you apply for the extension. If you move to another province you apply at the Immigration Office for that province, not return to Bangkok.

No, you don't have choices of immigration offices. As you entered on visa-exempt, the office you should go to is the one at IT Square Laksi Plaza.
It's next to Lak Si station of SRT Dark Red Line / MRT Pink Line.
thanks so much for your quick reply ๐ Do you know if I need to go prepared with any docs? Or can I just bring my original passport and the officer will print/copy, take my photo etc and get everything sorted there?
And do I need to book in advance or just rocked up? Thank you!
