Hello everyone!

When issuing a visa do they look at the presence of multiple stamps and previous stays in the Thai?

Over the past year there are 3 stamps for 60 days each extended by border in Satun

TLDR : Answer Summary
The conversation addresses concerns about whether multiple visa stamps and previous stays in Thailand are considered when applying for new visas, particularly the DTV (Digital Nomad Visa). Participants shared their personal experiences, clarifying that while immigration may inquire about past entries, the actual visa issuance by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) does not take previous stamps into account, provided the applicant has the correct paperwork.

No they don't look at past. Only if you qualify for the DTV with correct paperwork and bank statement

I lived here 2,5years (8-9months a year) with mostly exempts before getting DTV, only the last 9 months were tr converted to ED. I have a history of 3 overstays (3days, 1day, 1day). Wednesday i had my 180day finished and drove to cambodia land border, 1minute outside and back in with new 180days

I just entered at Bangkok with my DTV and my passport has an expired education visa in plus 2 visa on arrivals - I had no issues

It's more about immigration when crossing the border. They may have some questions regarding your past entries.
David ********
Anonymous participant 841 why would they nothing to do with your current visa,

@David *******
Because immigration does its job of controlling entries. DTV is MFA, and MFA doesn't look at past history. If anyone were to bring up past abuses, it would be immigration. A visa doesn’t grant entry; it only provides a reason for staying longer under certain conditions.
David ********
Anonymous participant 841 rubbish your visa gives you entry if they would deny you it would be when you apply you would be denied. If they issue you a visa you can enter the checks have been done already.

Rubbish? Are you bipolar? You just told the poster, 'No, they don’t look at the past' when applying, yet now you’re saying they would deny an application because of it. Where’s the logic in your nonsense?

@David *******
no, the previous comment is right and it explains well why. Immigration can refuse entry if you have a story of abuses. The visa is issued by the MOFA, which can't enforce migratory laws from abroad. Once at the airport or land border, it's up to Immigration to let you in or not. 99,9% won't have a problem, but it's not like they have the obligation to let you in.

No the MFA issue the visa and won't be able to see this. But it could cause you problems on entry with Immigration. Where do you plan to get the DTV?
