I have a covid extension under consideration stamp. I was told to visit Jomtien immigration 6th July for the full 60 day stamp. I am looking at a flight out of Thailand 7th July, early hours of the morning. Should I return to immigration or will I be ok at the airport? Any help appreciated.

I have been told, BUT what date is mentioned on the stamp inside your passport ? If that date is 6th July you have to go back on that date to the Immigration Office OR stamp out the country on or before that date to avoid being in overstay.

If you fly out on the 7th early morning, check in and stamp out late night on the 6th.

Thanks, flight is 2.30am so as long as checkin is open I am fine to pass immigration before midnight. Alternatively 1 day overstay. I can't close the stamp as Jomtien keep your passport overnight otherwise I would.

just stamp out, and you'll either get the fine waived OR it'll cost you 500 baht. Either way you're fine. 🙂
