I arrived 1st of April and got the stamp for 30 days, however I have a return flight for the 6th of May.
Do I have to get another stamp from the immigration office ?, or as I’m staying within 45 days not a problem ?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking advice on whether they need to extend their visa since they arrived in Thailand on April 1st with a 30-day stamp and have a return flight on May 6th, which falls outside the initial 30-day period. The community responses unanimously advise obtaining a 30-day visa extension from the immigration office to avoid any overstay issues and potential fines.
Be smart and book an appointment online now if you're doing it in BKK, there were none available before mine expired and it literally took me all day today... maybe because yesterday was a holiday but damn it was a long day waiting. The appointment itself was less than 5 mins. 😅
when you go to immigration office take a couple of passport photos/ photo copies of your passport info & stamp pages/TM 30 residence info (hotel)your return flight confirmation/1900 bht,.it’s a pretty easy process if you find a nice quiete imo office out in the country,. BKK could be a whole different ball game,. ( leave the wife beater shirt at home to)…
thanks everyone, I did ask my travel agent about 45 days and was told all was good.
But I will just head to the Bangkok immigration office and get another stamp

The extension for Tourism is easy and can take as little as 20 minutes depending on which Immigration Office you come under, check with them for their requirements

Make extension at immigration some days before stamp ends

45 days are finished. You need to go to your local immigration office and get a 30 extension which will more than cover you

You’ll be best to get a 30 day extension from an immigration office in country.
Best never to overstay. Perhaps not an issue other than the 500 baht per day but sometimes could be a huge issue that you just don’t want to contemplate.

there'll be closure days of all gov offices due to Songkran; check on that before you go.
Mate. overstay can be much ,ore than a black mark. If Immigration or police catch you while on overstay, the result can be a lengthy prison sentence, expulsion from the Kingdome and you will be unable to enter Thailand for an extended time. Overstay should never be your option.
just go to immigration and for bt1900 you get a 30 day extension. That is the cheapest, and easiest way to not overstay. The big thing that most aren't aware of, as it doesn't apply to them, and few people they know, but if you have an overstay a fine was paid on you can never get an Elite visa.
