I came to Thailand for 23 days, but have had to extend by a further 28 days. Total 51 days. Am I supposed to do anything please? Apologies if it's a stupid question.

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user inquired about the necessity of further action after extending their stay in Thailand from 23 to a total of 51 days. The consensus among the community members is that if the original visa exemption stamp allows a 60-day stay, there is no need for additional action as long as the user leaves by the stamped date. Specific advice included checking the passport for the entry stamp date and clarifying the type of visa obtained.
come on man Seriously some of the stuff that is asked here a 5 year old would know. If you are traveling to another country even to another state in your own country you gotta know the rules yourself. People have become conditioned to just posting crap. Do your own research. Loot on official sites. It's so basic 60 day in arrival + 30 day extension. That is so on Thai immagration site even you own country Thai consulate. Even google it FFS

Some people that are coming to Thailand really. Basic information is unknown to them. That's why Thai ladies love these guys she can tell them and do as they want.
Why? He doesn’t need to extend if he got 60 day visa exemption.

Why did you neglect to give your nationality? How can anyone give relevant information without your nationality?... Check your passport the entry stamp gives the date your authorised to stay until? Probably 60 days after entry? Possibly 30? If 30 your need to get an extension, if 60..? Your all good.
As a Brit you would have gotten a 60 day visa exempt stamp. 51 days is fine.

If you are worried check stamp in passport you got when arriving as they will have a date when you have to leave stamped inside it

Look in your passport and see what date is on the stamp they gave you. If the date on the stamp is later than when you'll be leaving, you don't have to do anything.
