TLDR : Answer Summary
A traveler has a 4-hour layover in Bangkok while flying from Cambodia to the UK and is inquiring about the need for a Thai Pass and transit visa. Based on community responses, it appears that since the traveler will need to collect and re-check their baggage, they are not considered to be transiting and will require a Thai Pass, along with following COVID-19 protocols such as hotel bookings and potential testing. It is also noted that obtaining the Thai Pass may take up to 7 days.
oh 🤦♀️ i have bookwd my flight now which is none-refundable..so i guess my only option is to book a test and go hotel in order to get a thai pass.. Not use it and go straight onto my next flight?
looks like im going to have to rebook my flight from PP to BKK for a day before and book a test and go hotel only to return to the airport the next day😭 should have done more research 🤦♀️
unfortunately it's two different airlines :( my flight isn't until mid may, so i am going to hold out changing anything just in case Thailand scrap the test and go (very unlikely but i can hope)
