I am traveling to thailand in October end. I will land at bangkok (Savaranbhumi airport ) I will take tourist Visa On Arrival. 

My question is

My nephew is traveling with me. He is 13 years old. As he is minor. Do I need to carry any NOC from his school and Parents?

Actually when I traveled Singapore this year. Thomas cook guided me to carry both. If u have any experience in thailand. Pls advise.

I would imagine it's a good idea at the very least to have a letter from his legal guardian stating that he can travel with you, to prevent any confusion.

My son's travelled alone with 15 years and Thai airways wanted a confirmation from me that he allowed to travel from Frankfurt to BKK, even when I bought the ticket they told me not necessary! Never was a problem when travelling alone with my kids.

Google the document needed. From the USA you must have a notarized document signed by both parents authorizing you to take the minor out of the country. Plus I would have a notarized POA for health care needs also. Cover your bases. You don’t want a nasty surprise somewhere. A local attorney could make sure you are doing it all correctly also

I would carry something from the parents just to be sure. Many countries enforce this strictly, many enforce it intermittently. South Africa was the most famous (and problem-causing) recent example.

And what has this to do with Thai visa advice? Sorry but if the airline company you like to use needs extra documents to bring a nephew with you, you need to contact that company.
