Do I currently need a letter from the (German) embassy that they are not issuing letters for Thai immigration office to extend my vtourist visa due to covid (60 days) in Bangkok?
Does anyone has experience what kind of documents I need for the Covid extension in Bangkok apart from the usual copies (e.g. Something from my landlord or copy of rental agreement etc.)?
Thank you ๐

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user asked if they need a letter from the German embassy stating they are not issuing documents for the Thai immigration office to extend their tourist visa due to COVID-19. They also inquired about additional documents required for the extension apart from usual ones such as proof from their landlord. Comments suggested using an email or a screenshot from the embassy's website if the letter is not provided, and encouraged checking previous threads for extensive documentation lists.
then take that same documentation and apply for a covid extension, you should be fine.

if they are not issuing it then just take the email you got from them saying that OR a screen grab from the website of the consulate here saying it and you're fine.
Now as far as what you need to get the extension there are HUNDREDS of threads on this page that list them SO use the search function and type in covid extension bangkok ๐
